Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs and doi for the references have been provided.
  • The length of accepted manuscripts should be 22–24 pages (including references and extended sum- maries) of A4 format, 1.5 spacing. All margins – 2 cm, indent – 1.27 cm, font: Times New Roman 14 pt saved in Word for Windows (*.doc).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The use of a Work in the scientific journal “Demography and Social Economy” is carried out on the basis of the Electronic Licence Agreement for the Use of a Work under Open Access Terms between the Mykhailo Ptoukha Institute for Demography and Life Quality Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensee”) and the author(s) of the Work (hereinafter referred to as the “Licensor(s)”), which is concluded by the Licensor(s)’ acceptance of the Licensee’s offer to enter into the Agreement.
    By selecting “Yes” in this field, the Licensor(s) accepts/accept the Licensee’s offer to enter into the Electronic Licence Agreement for the Use of a Work under Open Access Terms in the scientific journal “Demography and Social Economy”, published by the Akademperiodyka Publishing House of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The scientific journal Demography and Social Economy respects the privacy of website users and takes appropriate measures to protect personal data provided during registration, manuscript submission, peer review, and other interactions with the Editorial Office. Names, surnames, email addresses, information about affiliation, academic degree, ORCID, and other data are used solely to support the editorial and publishing process, communicate with authors, reviewers, and other participants in the publishing process, and administer the journal's activities.
When an article is published, certain information about the authors, including their name and surname, affiliation, ORCID, and email address, may be made publicly available on the journal's website and on the webpage of the respective article in accordance with the journal's editorial policy. Personal data are not sold or disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes or for any other purposes unrelated to the activities of the journal, except where required by law or necessary to ensure the operation of the journal.
